About Us

A lively outdoor event at Dearborn Elks Lodge with a band performing. — Dearborn Elks Lodge #1945
A lively outdoor event at Dearborn Elks Lodge with a band performing.

Since earning its charter, Dearborn Elks Lodge #1945 has been the kind of place where you walk in a stranger and leave with plans for next Friday. The lodge sits on Monroe Street in a working-class Dearborn neighborhood, and that location is no accident. The Elks have always planted themselves where people actually live, work, and need each other.

Ask anyone who's been here on a music night and they'll mention the bar first. Dave the bartender has become something of a local institution, the type who remembers your order and makes the room feel warmer just by being in it. Live performers like Kari Holmes have taken the stage here and left audiences buzzing. When the music is right and the drinks are cold, this room earns its 4.6-star reputation without trying.

The lodge runs fundraisers, community events, and social gatherings that put real money back into Dearborn causes. The food is consistently praised, the prices stay reasonable, and the crowd is the kind that shows up to help, not just to be seen. This is a members' club that takes its mission seriously without taking itself too seriously.

What We Offer

Lodge membership opens the door to a full calendar of events, from trivia nights and themed fundraisers to live music performances that draw crowds well beyond the membership rolls. The bar is well-stocked, reasonably priced, and staffed by people who know how to run a room.

The lodge also makes its space available for private parties and gatherings, though members and guests should know the room is intimate by design. It works beautifully for cocktail-style events, smaller celebrations, and seated dinners where conversation is the point. Large kids' parties with open play space are better suited elsewhere, but adult socials, milestone dinners, and fundraising events consistently land well here.

Beyond the social calendar, Elks community programs funnel member dues and event proceeds into scholarships, veterans' support, and local outreach. Joining is not just about getting a membership card. It is about putting your name behind something that has been doing good work in Dearborn, Michigan for generations.

"Little space for small parties, I went to birthday party it was way too crowded and if you having tables and chairs there is no space for kids to play. Definitely not for kids birthday party, in my opinion. Oh the only fun part for little kid was the unicorn horse ride for 1 minute🤔."
